Description
While the design is similar to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2676628 it was designed from scratch using Fusion 360. Some of the differences are that I need to be able to get to the buttons to open the trunk and the charging door, so I designed cut-outs for the lock, trunk, and charging door buttons. The unlock button is covered, but if you need to get to it you can just slide the cover down about 10 mm. I also added a cut-out on the back so you could see the Honda logo and the key fob driver number, and the height is limited to get to the slide to release the door key.
When I want to use the window feature I use the key to unlock and unlock-hold. I find that this gives me more control than using the remote when I want to lower the windows a little to allow the car to vent.
Update: 29 October 2022
I have redesigned the shield to fit tighter and made the walls thicker to see if this helps keep the shield on the key fob better. The new version is v5.
