Description
This is a durable, exact-fit replacement cap originally reverse-engineered for a Mercedes-Benz C200K W203.
Due to standardized OEM sizing, it is cross-compatible with a wide range of Mercedes chassis from the same era, including the W202, W204, W210, W211, and W209.
This model has been strictly real-world tested. The printed TPU cap has been in active use inside a daily-driven car for three years, withstanding extreme engine heat, winter conditions, and chemical exposure from washer fluids without any degradation or loss of flexibility.
Print & Design Notes:
Material: This part must be printed in TPU (flexible filament).
The flexibility is required to allow the cap to stretch slightly over the reservoir neck and snap into place, creating a reliable, watertight friction seal.
Standard configurations: a 0.4 mm nozzle and 0.2 mm layer height.
Orientation & Settings: Designed to be printed completely flat on the build plate. It requires no supports.
Color Recommendation: Printing in bright color TPU is recommended.
It creates a sharp visual contrast in the dark engine bay, clearly marking the maintenance point while perfectly complementing the existing (in my case red) color accents on the engine block.
