Description

/!\ WIP /!\ Reinforced Repair Kit, Window Regulator, Rear Left / Right for Opel / Vauxhall Vectra B and Corsa C (need confirmation for Corsa) /!\ WIP /!\

Test: Currently mounted on my Vectra 29/03/2026

Having had a breakage of this part and the kits being of the same shape, I created this reinforced replica to avoid a second breakage.
The part sits in the slide and locks into place via an insert.
I designed this part to be removable in case of a problem.

Window Regulator Disassembly / Reassembly Instructions (3D Printed Part)
Disassembly:
Disconnect the motor from the waterproof connector.
Drill out the rivets to remove the mechanism.
Remove the motor to release the cable tension.
Remove the white plastic stopper to free the broken part.

⚠️ Warning: part under mechanical tension ⚠️

Carefully release the support where the two cable ends with springs are attached.
Proceed gently (safety glasses strongly recommended).
Reassembly:
The printed part fits onto the rail, then the clip inserts into it to lock everything in place.

⚠️ Warning: part under mechanical tension ⚠️

Carefully reinstall the metal support with the cable stops.
Reinstall the white plastic stopper (square face inside the rail).
Screw the motor back in place to reapply cable tension.
Adjustments:
To assemble the small moving tab, I had to bend the metal by about 3–4 mm.
→ The assembly is more rigid than the original part.
I used screws instead of rivets.
Reinstallation:
Slide the mechanism back into the door.
Hold the white piece in the guide rail.
Secure the mechanism (pop rivets or rivet nuts).

✅ Done — window working again!

Print price estimates

Planning prices for one print, not a final quote. Defaults use a size allowance inferred from the part name, not a measured or sliced model. Filament suitability must be confirmed.

FilamentUSD / printApplication notes
PLA$28.50Indoor prototypes; not a default material for hot vehicle interiors.
PETG$29.00General-purpose candidate; heat and creep need review.
ASA$32.50Candidate for UV exposure; verify temperature and geometry.
ABS$31.50Enclosed printing; review application and dimensions.
TPU$37.50Flexible designs only; not a substitute for rigid materials.
Nylon$37.50Moisture, tolerances and application require review.
PA-CF$42.50Filled nylon; abrasive filament and fit need review.
Pricing assumptions and exclusions

USD: ($6 setup + $3 finishing + filament weight × assumed spool cost × 1.25 waste allowance + print hours × $2.50 × material time factor) ÷ 0.65. Rounded up to the next $0.50.

Assumed spool costs per kg: PLA $25, PETG $30, ASA $40, ABS $30, TPU $45, Nylon $65, PA-CF $95. Time factors: PLA/PETG 1.0, ASA/ABS 1.2, TPU 1.6, Nylon 1.4, PA-CF 1.5. These are proposed shop rates, not measured production costs.

Design work, test fitting, hardware, shipping and tax are additional where needed. Multi-file sets may need several prints. Use actual sliced weight and time when available. Final pricing is confirmed in writing.
