Description
I recommend printing the part "laying down" with supports as shown in the picture. The shape will be a little rougher than printing the part standing up, but it will be much stronger against the shear loading it experiences while on the vehicle.
I used ASA, but PLA or ABS should also work. I printed one at 0.1 mm resolution and one at 0.2 mm resolution. The one with 0.1 mm resolution feels like it has a better fit with the mating part.
